Magene e-Bike System Solution: Fat Tire Electric Bike

Fat bikes are becoming more and more popular nowadays. A fat bike (sometimes referred to as a fat tire bike) is an alternative bicycle sub-type that utilizes ‘fat’ tires, which are usually between 3.5-5″ wide, providing increased traction compared to your average bicycle. The wider tires a fat bike uses are designed to distribute the rider’s weight over a larger surface area, like sandy trails & beaches, snow, mud, swamps, bogs, and many mountain bike trails.

As the eBike has become the new hot trend, electric fat tire bikes also have become a hit in city transportation. With their unique and sturdy design, electric power, cool looks, and ability to handle rough terrain, they are quickly becoming a popular choice for urban commuters, adventure seekers, and anyone who wants to get around the city in style.

Magene provides a whole system solution to build a steady, safe, and reliable fat tire electric bike, we can take a close look at the details.

The whole system is composed of eBike Connected App, display, controller, BB torque sensor, electronic shifting, and radar sensor to guarantee a safe and comfortable riding experience.

CONTROLLERS

As the core component, Magene eBike system employs the CR71 and CR70 controllers for fat tire eBike.

CR70 Controller

· 250W-1000W Compatible

· Whole aluminum alloy base, heat dissipation improved by 30% with lifespan 30% longer

· Auto Assist Function

· Smooth Assist Function

CR71 Controller

· 250W-750W small-sized controller

· Smart device supportive by wire

· Simple wire, waterproof cable and plug is standard configuration

· Auto Assist Function

· Smooth Assist Function

DISPLAY

There are multiply options for the displays.

DY50 Display

· Touchscree

· Interactions with electronic shifting, radar, heart rate sensors(optional)

· Map navigation

· Cycling record

DY21 Display

· Display of precise power, range, efficiency

· Auto assist interaction supportive

· Better interactions and user experience with BLE and App

· Electronic shifting supportive (optional)

DY11 Display

· Simple design

· Auto assist interaction supportive

· Better interactions and user experience with BLE and App

· Electronic shifting supportive (optional)

TORQUE SENSOR

SR20 is a digital hollow torque sensor with axle and spider integrated. Its weight is only 460 g, saving installation and dismounting time by 50%.

· Hollow BB, axle and sleeve separated, axle and spider integrated

· 460g weight, saving installation and dismounting time by 50%

· Digital signal, delay ≤10ms, precision±1.5%

RADAR SENSOR

In order to make riding safer, the radar sensor of Magene eBike system can detect the speed and distance of approaching vehicles within 140 meters behind in real time. Cooperating with the display, it enable riders to know the conditions of approaching vehicles without looking back, thus effectively reducing riding risks.

· Working with eBike display to sense of vehicles approaching from behind up to 140m

· 40° horizontal detection angle effectively warning of rear vehicles

· Working with eBike rear light to warn rear vehicles

· Small size, easy installation

ELECTRONIC SHIFTING

Electronic shifting is newly added to Magene eBike system. It can realize a one-tap gear change together with the display and the supporting button.

· Electric signal to avoid delayed response

· Make the shifting more accurate, reduces the commissioning operation

· Small size and easy installation

Magene eBike system also paid more attention on its easy-operation and convenience, which enhance riders’ overall riding experience. The system can be easily adjusted before/during/after the cycling ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
